UNC Fertility Fellows
Dr. Jamie Stanhiser
Dr. Jamie Stanhiser grew up in Loma Linda, California. She completed her medical school training from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine after graduating with a double major in Human Biology and Human Development from the University of California, San Diego. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where she was a leader in her elected position as the Senior Chief Administrative Resident. She joined the UNC Fertility team as a reproductive endocrinology fellow in 2016. Her areas of interest include epigenetics, embryology, infertility, ovarian stimulation, and InVitro Fertilization. Dr. Stanhiser has committed herself and her career to women’s reproductive health as well as their overall wellness in mind, body and spirit. She dedicates her time to teaching, mentoring and research.
Dr. Brianna Lyttle
Dr. Lyttle was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing her residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMass) in Worcester, Massachusetts, Dr. Lyttle joined the UNC Fertility team as a reproductive endocrinology fellow in 2015. She has demonstrated her passion for women’s reproductive care by the work she has done around the world to better the lives of women and children.
Dr. Heather Hoff
Dr. Heather Hoff is a native Midwesterner having grown up in South Dakota where she received her Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from the University of South Dakota. She obtained her MD, along with the Research Distinction Track, at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where she received numerous teaching and research awards, including Best Chief Resident Educator.
In the summer of 2014, Dr. Hoff joined UNC Fertility in our intensive fellowship program. She has been a recipient of numerous well-deserved honors and awards including the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Scholarship as well as the ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) Corporate Member Council In-training Travel Grant. She has published her research on several areas of reproductive endocrinolgy and infertility in the field’s leading journals and has presented her work both nationally and internationally. Dr. Hoff is committed to providing compassionate and individualized care, and to achieving successful outcomes.
