Steven Young, MD, PhD

Dr. Steven Young is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina. He serves as the Program Director for the UNC REI Fellowship and as the Division’s Research Director. Dr. Young has won multiple awards for clinical care, research, and teaching. He has been named one of North Carolina’s Best Doctors (Best Doctors®) yearly since 2019 and a regional Top Doctor® (Castle Connolly) yearly since 2013. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and about 50 book chapters, reviews, and commentary articles.

Genevieve Neal-Perry, MD, PhD

Dr. Genevieve Neal-Perry joins UNC Fertility with more than 20 years of experience in women’s health and reproduction. Dr. Neal-Perry is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Leah Bressler, MD, MPH

Dr. Leah Bressler was raised in Clinton, North Carolina. She graduated from the North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics before attending UNC Chapel Hill as a Morehead scholar. She then received her MD from Harvard Medical School, where she was the recipient of the Joseph B. Martin Leadership and Public Service Scholar awards. Dr. Bressler is the Assistant Director of the REI Fellowship Training Program, and Director of REI training for Obstetrics & Gynecology resident physicians at the UNC School of Medicine.

Ellie Andres, PA

Ellie was raised in the Raleigh area. After graduating from Elon University with a BS in biology, she received her Masters degree as a Physician Assistant from Wake Forest University, achieving highest honors. She has over 10 years of experience as a Physician Assistant and is excited to be a part of the UNC Fertility family.

Christina Mitchell, MD

Dr. Christina Mitchell comes to UNC Fertility with an education from Harvard College and Weill Cornell Medical College. She loves getting to know her patients and working with them one-on-one. Dr. Mitchell serves as the Director of the UNC Fertility Preservation Program.
