UNC Fertility welcomes the newest member Meghan Cowles, to the team! Meghan’s passion for medicine was ignited at a young age, driven by a deep fascination with the human body and the intricate processes that sustain it. This early interest naturally evolved into a profound commitment to patient care. She discovered a deep fulfillment in understanding the unique needs of each patient and striving to provide the highest standard of care.
This dedication led Meghan to pursue a career in nursing at a major hospital, where she honed her skills and gained invaluable experience. Her desire to make a more significant impact motivated her to further her education and become a nurse practitioner.
With a strong focus on women’s health, Meghan gained extensive experience working in a birthing center, where she had the privilege of supporting mothers and newborns through one of the most crucial stages of life. As she continued her journey as a nurse practitioner, Meghan’s work expanded to include the broader family unit, allowing her to extend care to all members of the family.
“At the core of my philosophy is the belief in forming deep, trusting relationships with patients. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and treatment they deserve.”
