Dr. Colleen Milroy has joined the UNC Fertility team of infertility specialists! She joins the team with over 10 years of experience working in fertility and reproductive care.
Dr. Milroy has spent time all over the U.S. with her studies and fellowships. Originally a Santa Monica native, she received a soccer scholarship to Vanderbilt University. She then attended medical school at the University of Kansas, followed by OBGYN studies at University of Utah. During her REI fellowship in Utah, Dr. Milroy worked to create the first Oncofertility Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute and spent time researching epigenetic modifications of oocyte vitrification. She then returned to the University of Kansas as the Medical Director of the REI program.
After returning to the University of Kansas, Dr. Milroy had the opportunity to lead and grow the REI program at the Billings Clinic in Montana while also serving as the OBGYN Department Chair. If that wasn’t enough – she also continued her education at Harvard University receiving her Master’s in Healthcare Management!
Dr. Milroy specializes in IVF, RPL, Oncofertility and minimally invasive surgeries. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, traveling and being outdoors.
