Anna DeGolier is a Nurse Practitioner who brings over 16 years of cumulative experience in fertility and reproductive care, combining expertise from embryology, nursing, and advanced nursing practice. Anna is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds a certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
After graduating cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in microbiology, Anna was captivated by the science and the mystery of human reproduction and embarked on a career as an embryologist and andrologist at an in vitro fertilization laboratory. Her desire to connect with people on a more personal level and to guide them through what may sometimes become a challenging and confusing journey to parenthood inspired her to pursue the field of advanced nursing practice at the University of Hawaii. Anna was a recipient of Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarship during both her undergraduate and graduate training for outstanding academic achievement.
In the years of caring for fertility patients, Anna’s special interests include ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and an array of diagnostic procedures targeting factors that may contribute to infertility. Her goal is to simplify and demystify fertility care through education, compassion, and personal approach to every step of your journey.
