I feel so very fortunate to have had the pleasure of being Dr. Peavey's patient. She is so kind, thoughtful and genuine. She made me feel like I was her only patient she was seeing. She always lent a shoulder to cry on and a celebratory hug when appropriate. I honestly do not think I could have found a better doctor to go through the hardest time of my life with. She made me feel so comfortable even on the toughest days. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Peavey!
We had an excellent experience and really appreciate all the time Dr. Peavey took with us. She answered all our questions and gave us realistic expectations. It was a great experience.
From the time we walked in the door, we felt welcome. The staff was approachable, compassionate and explained the processes and options to us. The staff, especially Dr. Peavey, made me feel at ease regarding learning more about fertility options. This was very welcoming because we didn't know what our options were. Dr. Peavey answered our questions very candidly and gave us possible options.
The environment is welcoming, warm and friendly. Dr. Peavey is very aware and understanding of my feelings, fears, and anxiousness. She answers all my questions without judgement. Her answers are clear and easy to understand. She also responds to my emails in a very timely manner. This experience was not a chosen one, but since going to UNC Fertility I have been comforted that my husband and I are not alone in this journey. The doctors, nurses, and office staff have made us feel like we are a part of a community of people with a common goal. Each time I am in the waiting room and see how warm and inviting the staff is to each patient they greet; it makes me smile because I know they are the start to so many tiny miracles. We are all grateful for such a place where you are made to forget that you had a problem, but that you just needed the support to be guided down a different path to start a family.
Dr. Peavey was excellent - warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and very thorough in her explanations of what to expect out of the IVF process. We felt very comfortable asking her questions. The office building is new, nice, and clean. All other staff were kind and helpful.
